Shia Conlon is an Irish artist and writer currently based in Helsinki. His practice investigates how marginalised and traumatised people can regain control of their narratives by reappraising the past. He is interested in how power is entrenched through social structures such as gender, sexuality, religion, class, the family unit and the state, and how these structures affect people trying to live and survive within them.
